Murano Cranberry to Blue Tall Crystal Vase Barbini?
Mom was sure this was a piece of Barbini’s work. She had two books on 1950s Glass by Pina and there is a bowl and a duck that’s the same color. This belonged to mom’s mother, so it has been in the family for some time. It did come with a paper label, but that is gone. Mom estimated it being from the late 1940s to early 1950s. The vase measures 12 ½" tall. It has six pleats and goes from deep cranberry to light orchid and blue. It is a beautiful piece! There is a ¼" slice on one pleat close to the body that does not show except when the light hits it when you are looking for it. (11-25-23-B)
