Czechoslovakia – Art Deco Set with Candlesticks MCM
This is a beautiful art deco 3-piece set. There is a console bowl and two other bowls with candlestick holders. The pottery is white on the outside and chartreuse on the inside. The large bowl is 9 ¾" long and the two side pieces are 5 ¾" long. The height of the set 1 ½". It is marked on the bottom in red – Made in Czechoslovakia. There are embossed numbers 1895 & 4144 B on the bigger piece. The smaller pieces also have numbers on them. This set is in excellent condition – no chips, cracks, or crazing. Measures approximately 6 5/8” across and is signed at the bottom of the design, Sascha B. The enamel on the plate features rich shades of teal or aqua blue with green grapes and gold overglaze trim. It was handmade in the United States during the 1960s and is perfect for collectors of vintage, retro, or mid-century items. There are two slight rim dings that you have to look for. (8-16-24 B)
