Crystal Butter / Cheese Dish with Knife Rest and Lid
This is an unusual heavy crystal oblong butter/cheese dish with lid. It has an attached knife rest. The piece measures 9 ¼" long and 5 ¾" wide. With the lid on, it stands 6 ½"high. The lid has a six-sided knob with a flower in the center. The bottom has a rayed pattern. Overall, the pattern looks like the old sandwich star pattern. The bottom of the dish is polished. There is a tiny ding on the bottom and a small chip on the bottom rim of lid. (11-26-23-C)
